VetCare for veterinary clinics

Veterinary clinic software — from the record to the till.

Exams, scheduling, point of sale and stock run in one system. Whatever the vet adds to the therapy reaches the bill and the stock — nobody types it twice.

Clinical records

The whole visit on one screen. No tab-hopping.

The patient and their history on the left, the visit in the middle, and on the right the bill that fills itself as you work.

  1. Patient & history

Search by name, owner or microchip number. Past visits, vaccinations and diagnoses are right there.

  2. The visit

Anamnesis, temperature, pulse and weight, an eight-system exam, diagnosis, therapy and products — procedures, medication, investigations with images, vaccinations, surgery, hospitalisation.

  3. Bill & payment

Every therapy line is on the bill. Complete the visit and the sale is recorded and the medication comes off stock.

Six kinds of therapy lines

Procedures, investigations with images, medication and vaccines from stock, surgery and hospitalisation — every line goes on the bill and products come off stock.

  • Templates for common procedures
  • Reminders to owners by email (and text, where SMS is switched on) for appointments, vaccinations, revaccination and follow-ups
  • Lab results with trends across visits and chains of control visits
  • A dose calculator for injectable items — by species and weight
  • Microchip lookup, and the QR card opens the patient
  • Ambulatory journal built from completed visits

Veterinary scheduling

Your clinic’s schedule — and requests from owners.

A day view with a column per vet and a week view. Exams, surgeries and vaccinations; shifts, leave, working hours and holidays.

  • Statuses: pending, scheduled, completed, cancelled, no-show, declined
  • Team shifts and leave in the same calendar
  • Works on a phone too — for the vet between two patients

Online appointment requests

  1. 1The owner requests

If your clinic has online booking switched on, they pick a day, a time from the list and a reason.

  2. 2It lands in your schedule

The request shows up as pending in the clinic calendar.

  3. 3You decide

Your team accepts or declines it.

  4. 4The owner sees it

The status appears in their account.

It’s an appointment request, not an instant booking — your team has the final say.

Everything connected

One completed visit. Four places update themselves.

VetCare records the sale, takes the medication from the batch that expires first and adds the movement to your reports — the moment you press “Complete visit”.

Point of sale

Products and procedures in one cart — linked to a patient or as a walk-in sale.

  • Cash with change, or card
  • Discounts
  • Full and partial refunds — optionally back into stock
  • Barcode scanning — with the camera or a USB / Bluetooth scanner
  • The pet’s QR card loads the patient
  • A history of every sale

Inventory

Stock moves on its own from visits and the till. You watch expiry dates and order on time.

  • Batches with expiry — the earliest is used first
  • A ledger of every movement and adjustment
  • Suppliers and purchase orders with partial receiving
  • Orders that reach a distributor on VetCare — with an answer on every line
  • Minimum levels, low-stock alerts and order suggestions

Staff & permissions

The right tools for the right people.

Invite colleagues with an email link or a QR code. For each person you pick a role and the access to each module — full, read-only or none. The owner is part of the team and the rota too.

  • Owner

Sees and manages everything — locations, team, prices and reports.

  • Manager

The schedule, team, stock and numbers of the location.

  • Veterinarian

Exams, therapy, vaccinations and their own schedule.

  • Veterinary nurse

Procedures, preparation and help during the visit.

  • Receptionist

The schedule, owner requests and the till.

  • Assistant

Stock, deliveries and help with the daily work.

An example split — access is set per person.

Reporting

The numbers come from the work itself.

Nothing to collect separately: visits, the till and stock put your reports together.

  • Payments and expenses
  • Revenue vs expenses — daily and monthly
  • Cash reports with CSV export
  • By product, by service and by vet
  • Stock audit

Multi-location

Several locations. One account.

Switch between your locations from the same account — two clinics, or a clinic and a pet shop. Each location keeps its own team, prices, stock, sales, schedule and reports.

  • One staff member can work at several locations
  • Location data never gets mixed

There’s no combined dashboard across locations yet — reports are per location.

Bulgarian practice

Built around how Bulgarian clinics actually work.

Designed with Bulgarian veterinary workflows, including processes related to BFSA registers and Ordinance No. 42, in mind.

  • Ambulatory journal

Built from completed visits — filter by period and print.

  • Veterinary medicines log

Veterinary medicinal products in one place.

  • Disinfection log

Records of the disinfections carried out.

  • Controlled substances

A separate log for controlled substances.

  • Refrigeration

    Temperature records for your fridges.

  • Licence details

Entered when you register the clinic.

VetCare does not certify regulatory compliance — keeping the registers remains the clinic’s responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

What does VetCare include for a veterinary clinic?

A clinical record with a three-column visit screen, scheduling with online requests from owners, a point of sale, batch inventory with expiry dates, staff with per-module access, reporting and multi-location support. The modules are connected: a completed visit creates the sale and deducts the medication from stock.

How much does VetCare cost for a clinic?

Vetty Solo (1 vet) — €35/month, Vetty Clinic (up to 3 vets) — €79/month, Vetty Hospital (unlimited vets) — €149/month, VAT included. Paying yearly, you pay 10 months instead of 12. The first 30 days are free, no card needed. The second and every further clinic is 20% off.

How do owners book with us?

If you switch on online booking, the owner picks a day, a time from a list and a reason. The request lands in your schedule as pending, your team accepts or declines it, and the owner sees the status in their account. It isn’t an instant booking.

Does it work with a microchip reader or barcode scanner?

A microchip reader — no: you look a patient up by typing the number, within your clinic’s patients, with no national registry link. A barcode scanner — yes, at the POS: with the phone camera or a USB / Bluetooth scanner. The pet’s QR card loads the patient.

Does the POS issue fiscal receipts?

No. The VetCare POS isn’t connected to a fiscal device.

Can we work across several locations?

Yes. You switch between locations from one account and each keeps its own team, prices, stock, sales and reports. There’s no combined dashboard across locations yet.

Is VetCare compliant with BFSA requirements?

VetCare is designed with Bulgarian veterinary workflows in mind, including processes related to BFSA registers and Ordinance No. 42 — ambulatory journal, veterinary medicines, disinfection, controlled substances and refrigeration logs. Compliance of your records remains the clinic’s responsibility.

Which languages does it support?

The app is available in Bulgarian and English (as well as Russian and Ukrainian), with prices in euro.
