Getting started

Four steps and you’re in.

You don’t need a clinic, a company or an invitation. The account is for anyone who has a pet.

  1. 1Create your account

Sign up with your email — no fees, no business to set up.

  2. 2Add your pet

Species, breed, date of birth, weight. One profile for every pet you have.

  3. 3Find a clinic

On the Discover map. If the clinic accepts online requests, ask for a time right there.

  4. 4The history fills in

When your clinic keeps its visits in VetCare, the microchip, vaccinations, visits and lab results appear in the profile.

Who writes what

Your details and your vet’s — together, but separate.

You keep the pet profile. The clinic records the medical part. Nobody copies anything by hand, and nobody can change someone else’s record.

You fill in

The profile and care at home

Everything you know best about your pet.

  • Name, species, breed, colour, sex, weight, date of birth
  • Neutering, purebred, notes
  • Vaccinations given elsewhere and a parasite-control tracker with dates
The clinic records

Microchip, vaccinations and visits

They appear after a completed visit at a clinic that works with VetCare.

  • The microchip number
  • Vaccinations with the next due date — coming up or overdue
  • Visits with their control visits, lab results, files and scheduled follow-ups
  • Read-only for you

A QR card that gives nothing personal away

Every pet gets a QR card — print it or keep it as an image. Whoever scans it sees only the name, species and breed. No phone number, no address, no health data. At a clinic that uses VetCare, the team opens the pet’s record with one scan.

How the QR card works

Parasite control without remembering dates

Enter the product, how many days apart it’s given and when it was last given. VetCare shows whether you’re on track, it’s due soon or overdue — and you add the date to your own calendar with an .ics file.

Reminders up close

Care nearby

Vets, groomers, pet hotels — on one map.

Discover lists every active business on VetCare: veterinary clinics, pharmacies, grooming salons, pet hotels and pet shops. See opening hours, services and prices — and whether they’re open right now.

  • Filter by type, by city and “open now”
  • Profiles with services, public prices, team and gallery
  • Appointment requests — where the business has switched them on

A request isn’t a booked slot — until it’s accepted

Pick a day, a time and a reason — at a grooming salon you also pick the service, and at a pet hotel you request a stay with dates. The business accepts or declines, you see the answer in your account and you can cancel.

Good to know

We say exactly what VetCare does today — no surprises.

  • Reminders by email or text

For appointments, vaccinations, parasite control and follow-ups you get a reminder by email, and by text where SMS is switched on. You choose the channel or switch them off in your account. No push notifications.

  • A request, not instant booking

Your time is confirmed once the business accepts the request. Online requests exist only where the business has switched them on.

  • Discover is behind sign-in

The map, lists and business profiles open with your free account.

  • Medical records come from the clinic

You see records from clinics that work with VetCare. You can’t edit them — and neither can anyone but the clinic. A vaccination given elsewhere you add yourself.

Questions from pet owners

Is it really free for pet owners?

Yes. The pet owner account is free — create it with an email and a password and add your pets. You don’t need a business account.

Can I add more than one pet?

Yes. Each pet gets its own profile with details, a QR card, vaccinations, visits, lab results and a parasite-control tracker.

Where do the vaccinations and visits in the profile come from?

From the clinic. When the vet completes a visit in VetCare, the vaccinations (with the next due date) and the visit appear in your pet’s profile. You can see them but not change them. A vaccination given outside a VetCare clinic you can add yourself.

Will VetCare remind me about deworming or vaccinations?

Yes. For deworming — the day before; for a vaccination — before the next-dose date; for a follow-up exam — when your clinic recorded one. They come by email, and by text where SMS is switched on. You choose the channel or switch them off in your account; you can also add the date to your calendar with an .ics file.

What does someone see when they scan the QR card?

Only your pet’s name, species and breed. No contact details and no health information.

How do I find a vet near me?

In Discover, once you’re signed in: a map and a list of veterinary clinics, pharmacies, grooming salons, pet hotels and pet shops, with opening hours, services and an “open now” filter.

Can I book a vet appointment online?

You can send an appointment request to a business that has online requests switched on: pick a day, one of the offered times and a reason. The clinic accepts or declines, and you see the status in your account. You can cancel a request or an accepted appointment before it starts.

One account. Your pet’s world, connected.
