Five ways to take part
One place for everything beyond the vet visit.
Your pet’s health lives in their profile. This is everything else — what happens between people who care about animals.

The owner marks their pet as missing — the post appears in the list and on the map.

Lost pets
More eyes when you’re searching.
When your pet goes missing, the post reaches people in your city — in a list and on a map, with comments from anyone who may have seen them.
- Mark your pet as missing — with the city and a spot on the map
- The post shows up in the lost-pets list and on the map
- Logged-in users comment; you pin what matters to the top
- Your phone number is visible to logged-in users only
Adoption
Find a home. Or help someone find one.
Owners post animals that need a new home. Each listing comes from the pet’s profile — with their vaccinations, parasite control and vet visits.
- Browse as cards or on a map
- Filter by species, breed, sex, age, city, neutering and pedigree
- Contact the owner directly — once you’re logged in
Shelters
Animal shelters, in one place.
The adoption section includes a directory of animal shelters. For each one: city, address, opening hours, phone, email, website and a short description.
- Find the shelter in your city and see when it’s open
- Get in touch directly — to adopt or to volunteer
- The directory is maintained by the VetCare team

Animal listings
Listings, without the noise.
An owner marks an animal for sale — with a price or as “negotiable”. Browse listings as cards or on a map, filtered by species, breed, sex, age, price and city.
- Species, breed, age, colour, neutering and pedigree
- Vaccinations and parasite control from the pet’s profile
- The owner’s phone number — for logged-in users only
VetCare doesn’t process payments or act as an intermediary — the arrangement is directly between people.
Partner matching
Find a suitable match.
Create a breeding profile for your pet and browse other animals of the same species — within a distance you choose, or in your city.
- 1Profile
Bio, pedigree, temperament and what you’re looking for: sex, breed, colour, distance.
- 2Browse
Like or skip — one card at a time.
- 3Mutual interest
When you both like each other, each of you sees the other owner’s phone number.
No chat and no public contacts — the phone number appears only on mutual interest.

Community questions
Do I need an account to browse the community?
Yes. Lost pets, adoption, shelters, listings and partner matching are inside the VetCare app and visible once you log in. A pet owner account is free.
Can I report an animal I found?
VetCare doesn’t have a separate “found animal” post at the moment. If you’ve found an animal, check the list of lost pets — if you recognise it, leave a comment on the post and the owner will see it.
How do I get a shelter listed in the directory?
Shelters are added and maintained by the VetCare team. Write to us via the contact page with the shelter’s name, city and contact details.
Can I pay or donate through VetCare?
No. Animal listings have no online payment — the arrangement is directly between people. Donations to shelters aren’t available yet — coming soon.
How does partner matching work?
You create a breeding profile for your pet and browse animals of the same species within a chosen distance or city. When both owners like each other’s profile, each sees the other’s phone number.
